• Cut in my own long octagon design with a fantasy cut pavilion and a step-cut crown
• Untreated
• Naturally occurring
• Corundum (sapphire)
• Unique attributes: This gem has a little bit of character, there are fully formed rutile needles that span the stone and a few healed fractures that are right under the table and off to the sides. It has a very slight color shift under soft and warm white light to a more purple/tanzanite tone. The inclusions don't really detract from the cut so if you are looking for a really beautiful untreated blue sapphire on a budget this could be it!
